Born and raised in Reno, NV. After graduating from the University of Southern California in 1991 with a business and real estate development degree, Troy came back to his roots in Reno. Between the years of 1991 and 1996, Troy worked for two local residential subdivision firms where he gained experience in the field, construction management, accounting and sales/marketing.
With a desire to expand his horizons, Troy started his own residential building firm, HomeCrafters, in 1996. Over the years, HomeCrafters has been recognized numerous times in the local Builders Association’s awards program and has established a sterling reputation with realtors, bankers and clients as being one of Reno’s premier custom home builders. During these years, HomeCrafters has had the opportunity to also work on some very diverse commercial projects.
Troy and his family have called Reno their home for over 3 generations. He has volunteered and served on numerous boards around town including serving as president of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada. He is an avid Nevada Wolf Pack supporter and currently sits on the Athletic Association of the University of Nevada Board.
