Award-Winning Builder HomeCrafters Expands into Commercial Market with Formation of M2 Construction

Reno, Nevada, April 23, 2014 – Troy & Travis Means, owners of HomeCrafters, a longstanding, family-owned residential construction firm in Reno, NV, have announced the establishment of their commercial division, M2 Construction. M2 will provide the same unmatched level of craftsmanship as its award-winning residential counterpart, while catering to local architects and planners who seek the perfect balance between quality and efficiency.

“Although the primary focus of HomeCrafters has been on custom homes and semi-custom home neighborhoods, we have had the opportunity to work on several commercial projects,” says Troy Means, Owner. “We felt it was an opportune time to establish a separate entity with its own identity that would focus primarily on commercial construction.  We have put together an outstanding team of experienced individuals with an extensive background in commercial construction and look forward to this new venture.”

The M2 Construction portfolio includes the recent renovation and remodeling of the Riverside at Washington project in Reno’s Powning District, which currently serves as home to The Hub, Beaujolais Bistro, and Dorinda’s Chocolates, as well as Allied Gold Nevada’s temporary man-camp & New Frontier RV Park and Community Center in Winnemucca, NV. Current projects include Dickson Realty in Truckee, CA, Wingers Restaurant & Casino in Winnemucca, NV, and Peri and Sons Farms’ migrant housing project in Yerington, NV.
